Hi, I have a 19yr old daughter, who has been ill for about 3 years now but is getting worse!

She has suffered migraines all her life. But now she is ill practically on a weekly basis.
she is getting lots of very bad headaches/mirgraines, she is ALWAYS feeling hot, day and night, but also can feel very cold.some nights she wakes up and is dripping wet with either sweat or a fever!!
She is severly sick with the headaches.
But now she has become very lathargic. If we go shopping, when she gets home she falls straight to sleep. If she goes out with her friends to a club, she needs about 2 days to recover.
She is an Asthmatic and her breathing has got a lot worse for some strange reason, she is having to take a lot more of her inhalers. She constantly has sort of flu symptoms.
These symptoms have been going for for about 3years, but are now getting more and more practically on a weekly basis.
She has been to the Dr who ran some blood tests and said everything is fine!!
Can anyone help here.

Thank you

Honey.

Thank you Honey. I would have the doctor check her potassium, magnesium and phospherus that might have a little bit to do with her feeling weak. Also this might sound a little funny but how are her bowel movements? Make sure that they are often and normal. Thought this might help a little.

  • I suggest she learn the Buteyko breathing technique. Also use the herb licorice, sometimes spelt liquorice. Not the candy.

  • i have to agree that it could be lyme disease, AND you can get many fasle negatives, and sometimes have to push for more tests. she needs a specialist, ASAP. personally i would start with rheumatology. they will run a battery of tests, much more extensive than a family doctor, and direct you to other specialists if they arent the right ones. auto immune diseases steal your energy so it sounds like she could have something of that nature. (the immune system is functioning as if you were sick, but attacking your body instead of a virus/bacteria, which causes fatigue) when you know something isnt right and a doc says they dont see anything you need to push for specialists. a 19 year old should be able to run around all day, how could they say "everything is fine" when it obviously is NOT!??? 3 whole years? don't take "no" for an answer! get to a specialist! my story:my initial bloodwork at my family doctor came out fine, if i hadnt gone on to see a rheumatologist i wouldnt have figured out i have psoriatic arthritis, and if i hadnt pushed for an MRI (due to migraine symptoms) and gone to a good neurologist i wouldnt have found out that i have Multiple Sclerosis and much more damage would have occurred before they would have caught it. i saw several doctors, had lots of bloodtests and xrays, but not the right ones! then i saw my rheumatologist, after the first visit i had to give 24 tubes of blood (and i am needle phobic). she tested for every possible thing that any of my symptoms could be! (if you are in the CT area i'll give you her name!)

  • Does she have any silver colored fillings, if so did you know that they are made of 50% pure mercury. If she has any of these they could either be the cause of some of these symptoms or at the least weaken her immune system to the point where she catches illlnesses very easily. I agree though about the fact that it could be lyme disease, and if it is you might want to check into getting a rife machine (don't buy the $2000 dollar ones, they have ones for around $100 bucks online that work through your computer) although this will take some effort learning to use and finding the right frequencies. Also you may want to consider TOA cat's claw herb, it's supposed to be excellent for lyme. Your doctors will probably not know about either one of these though and they may advise against them but I would do your own research and see what you think.Good luck!
