My husband has loss 33 lbs in 3 weeks without trying. He has dizzy spells now. He has fallen at least twice a day for the last 5 days. He has short term memory loss. He is sleeping fromm 11pm until 4:30pm everyday for the last week. He is always tired. His stomach hurts. He went to us the bathroom and somehow fell in the tub. He is only 41. He is on PD dialysis due to end stage renal failure.(since 2001-2003, then transplant until 2007, and now back on pd) What could this be?

  • If it's kidney related, try the I Hate Dialysis message board, which is very active and would certainly have someone who would recognize those symptoms (unless, of course, it isn't kidney related).

  • no. His renal failure was due to high blood pressure the first time. the transplant failed because his sister, the donnor, had a dormant virus that was detected until after the transplant. What i'm concerned about now is the symptoms he's having now, weight loss, dizziness, ect.
