Hi I got a Pet scan of the brain about 3 months ago and was wondering that since i have severe cognitive impairment that was thought to be duer to bolod flow problems or metabolic how accurate the test was. It came back "normal" with increased activity in the basal ganglia? They told me next to nothing about the test beffore hand. (FDG PET scan) What's weird was i hadn't taken my medicine the morning i got it and was likeve supremely nervous( I have POTS o i have an adreneline problem. so i was just flooded with adreneline and was thinking faster then i have in (tfive years. Does that affect the uptake? Cause usually i'm slow as grass.. And how sensitive is it to TIA's (tried to rule that out) Does it show the brain at that moment or how it would be on a daily basis.
