My baby has Dandy Walker malformation and is 9 months old. Her head is shapped funny and has started to grow too fast. There doesn't seem to be pressure on the brain but because of the increasing size, the neurologist wants to put a shunt in. I'm not convinced this is the right thing to do. My baby also has significant kidney and liver problems that noone can quite figure out. Could liver problems lead to some form of mild hydrocephalus?
