A few months after having my vision checked, I had a fall where I fell flat on my back and hit the back of my head on concrete. I believe I was knocked out. The ambulance was called for me and I was diagnosed with a concussion and whiplash. Since then I have had massive headaches that even a nerve block shot cannot help, extremely weird/disturbing dreams, anxiety, short-temper, memory loss, and sometimes I forget what I'm talking about in the middle of a sentence. I went to see an ophthamalogist to check for a detached retina because my vision was not clearing up from the blow to the head and he said I needed a new prescription -- this only a few months after being checked initially.
So, my question is... can a concussion change vision prescriptions?
