I have just recently given birth the 16th of July to my first child. After the birth I had my first poop 3 days later with minimal pain and a few more after that with little or no problem. Now about 2 weeks later, have experienced extreme pain and now blood when I go. It's to the point where I hold it in till I can't hold it in any longer. Then when I go, I only allow myself to go a little bit not emptying myself completely. I have tired stool softeners and now laxitives and lots of water to no avail. The laxitives allow me to pass more gas which relieves pressure but thats about it. Before I do go, I always take a 10 min hot shower to help soften the skin around the area and relieve pain and use baby wipes instead of toliet paper to reduce scrapping the area. I am starting to worry about what I'm doing to my insides from refusing to go. Does anyone know what else I can do to help me go without the pain and blood?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
