For the last 2 years I have been short of breath,(Dr said I have asthma due to methacoline challenge test I took), but I do not wheeze, only out of oxygen when I exert myself at all. - after passing out after going up 1 flight of stairs, had chest ct at the ER which showed granuloma in left chest lobe and 2 around trachea),had chest pain, ( I had cardiac workup, only showed mitral valve prolapse), painful chest lumps on ribs, painful lumps on fingers and big toe with toenail change on that toe. Toenail has a horizontal line across it and white spots. A year ago I developed small red hard lumps on top of my knee and one on my ankle. These lasted 3-4 months and leave scars. One on ankle has reoccured. They are very hard and kind of peel away over time. I have dry patches of skin on top of my thighs and very dry lips that occasionally will crack in the corner of my mouth. In the last 3 months I have had reoccuring bladder infections and abdominal and back pain. From March to July when the lumps on my toe and fingers appeared I had so much pain I could hardly walk. My family doctor had said my thyroid is alittle low and has given me Synthroid 25mg for 2 mo, then upped it to 50mg after blood test showed it still low after 2 mo on medication. I have lots of muscle and bone aches and have seen a rhematologist that suspected fibromyalgia. I did not tolerate the medication she prescribled. I have problems tolerating medications. I also suffer from chronic hives. For 13 years it was in the corner of my eye, since my appendectomy in 2002 I started waking up with abdominal and back hives, some the size of cantelopes. My hives last 1-2 days, and are usually very large. I have seen an allergist who prescribed zyrtec which controls them most of the time. Allergy testing came back negative.
Other possible important info: I am female - in my late 40's, still having periods every month, had appendectomy in 2002, benign pappiloma removed from breast in 2000, was diagnosed with mixed connective tissue disease in 1988, in remission since 1991(last ANA test was negative and sed rate normal), also received rabies shots at age 7 in 1964.
I continue to hope one day someone with figure this all out.
