Over the past tweny years I have been experiencing a spontaneous paralysis after eating certain foods, and it has gotten progressively worse over the last year. I have narrowed the foods down to MSG and seasonings, however, have not found a doctor who actually understands what is happening to me. I have had EEG's and CAT Scans, with everything being normal. The paralysis could last anywhere between 20 minutes to an hour and I can't not move my voluntary muscles. Involuntary muscles are spared of this episode. My voluntary muscles are completely paralyzed. After I come out of it, I can continue my day with no problem, although a little bit fatigued. I have done a lot of research and have not found any type of diagnosis for what my syptoms are. Now, I eat only organic food and this seems to be working, but I would love to know if this is debilitating to my muscles and at some point life threatening. Can anyone help?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
