Can't Breath While Lying Down

I can't breathe when I lay down. It's feel like my tongue is to big for my throat and that I'll suffocate if I lay down. I have to force myself to breathe whenever I do lay down. I think my throat is swollen a little. I've checked other things like stuff about tonsils, oral allergies and sore throat but that's not it. I also came across a headache and jaw pain. I ate a banana nut muffin today (which I haven't had in a while) but I'm not allergic to nuts and I've never reacted to it before. Does anyone have the slightest idea what going on?
