My daughter is 25years old she has had severe lower adominail pain since she has been 12. She was diagnosist with endometrois and ovarian cyst syndrome. She has had 20 laproscopies and the final decision after years of deciding and seeking the help of a fertility doctor was a complete hysterectomy 3 months ago. About a year ago she developed a severe pain in her lower right side which causes severe pain upon movement of any kind. This was added to the other issues. The pain caused from the endometrois has gone and the ovarian cyst have gone but the last issue is getting worse by day. She has been to the emergency room 5 times in the last 2 months she is medicated at all times, had 3 cat scans (which show nothing) and now we are off to the kidney specialist for some rare kidney problem that only 100 people in the United States has. She has been referred to the Mayo clinic and also had accupunture. Getting through the day is a job for us and her. She does live at home because she is unable to work. Any ideas

Any ideasWell, I hope things have gotten better for you... and while I don't know too much, I do have a friend who has endometrois, and is a nurse. She says that endo can spread to all organs in the body, and can affect people in strange places (she feels pain from it in her left sholder!) so even if you remove the organs it is affecting it is still in your body can can still affect other organs. Maybe your daughter still has endo and it is spread to other places (I know it is very painful).... my friend said Amitriptiline worked for her pain when it was at it's worst. Good luck!
