I have a chronic cough, (started around Halloween last year). It is very very persistent and has changed my lifestyle profoundly. I cough and cough until I am red faced and retching. One of my ears is so congested that I can barely hear out of it at all. My chest feels heavy and my throat sore and tickly. I have ruled out GERD---------so now what? The cough continues day and night. No otc cough relievers have worked. The congestion in my ear has been there about 2 weeks. I've tried mucous thinners and decongestants but nothing has relieved that pressure and throbbing. Help!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
