About 2 weeks I began experiencing chest pressure which would turn a little painful at times. Went to the hopsital and had an EKG and chest X-Ray done, both normal. Dr had me on hypertension meds for a while and said that it could be the meds or might be acid reflux. I started taking prilosec and stopped the hypertension meds, under dr supervision (wasn't taking them too long anyways). Chest pressure decreased quite a bit since I went of the meds a few days ago but chest still hurts when something like a seatbelt is put across it. Its almost like the pressure from the seatbelt aggravates the pressure in my chest? When I pull the seatbelt back it relieves the pressure. Same thing happens when I'm wearing my jacket and it presses up in some weird way against my chest. Pressure is usually located at or around the sternum and it seems the worst when something lightly presses on it. What could this be?!?!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
