I have almost like at a pulsing type pain. It is limited to just my index finger. I barly touch it and pain is almost unbearable. Also there seems to be a pins and needles sensation and temprature sensativity. Slightly swollen and red in color. If any body has even the slighes5t clue as to what this be let me know. You ask why I havn't i just gone to the doctor's. Bad experience truly bad so I only go if necessary.

  • Are you drinking half your body weight in oz. of water? Do you consume mineral rich foods and sea salt?

  • Ignore the above poster. They have been recommending drinking "half your body weight in oz" to every person on here. If you didn't directly injure your finger, it could be nerve damage. Try massaging your hand, up to and including your finger if possible. Take a hot bath and keep your hand submerged to help blood flow. Hope this helps.

Without water there is no blood flow.

  • I do not believe so why?You need to drink the enough amount of water- don't drink too much! When you don't have enough water in your system, the cells have to shrink to donate water to the blood. Also the blood vessels have to narrow to save water. Your symptoms can be something as simple as that.I would encourage you to continue trying to find out what's wrong with you, but consider how important water really is and try to comply with your water and mineral requirement.Take Care Best!
