Calf Pain

For the past few years I have been going back and forth to doctors trying to get a diagnosis for severe calf pain in both legs, deep in the muscle. Sometimes it gets so bad I am nausous. The pain is only there when I am sitting or lying down. Exercise and walking improves it. Recently I had the pain really bad and the next day I came down with strep throat. After going on penicillin for the strep, the pain eased. Its still there but much better. Anyone have any ideas?
