A few weeks ago I had a sharp pain on the left, inside area of my calf muscle. It would dissappear after activity, but then reappear after sitting, or lying down. I went for a massage, and the therapist lighly went over the area and now, their is a lot of surface bruising where the sharp pains are. I assume it's due to the massage. Anyways, I'm not sure why and I never hit myself to cause the bruising or pains. Any ideas?

  • I would rule out DVT (clots) by getting an ultrasound. This is a common area for clots to form. Are you on any meds? Best wishesDOM
