Burning Toes & Leg Stiffness off and on...

My doctor calls it "Paresthesias" (abnormal nerve sensations) and my other doctor says its a circulatory disorder. I wish I can turn back the hands of time and study to become a doctor, so I can help all these people with their problems including mine, but as you can read, I am in dire need for some answers.

Has anyone these symptoms - burning toes and leg stiffness that radiates upwards to the groin area that comes and goes when it feels like?

  • I was diagnosed yesterday with "paresthesia" also because he doesn't know what else to call it I believe ! Last week he called it peripheral neuropathypossibly MS. The Dr. ordered MRI and nerve tests. I went to him yesterdayand was told that I had all the symptoms of MS and was in the right agegroup but because the MRI didn't show anything he would "bet me two cupsof coffee that I didn't have MS." and " if I had PN it was only the beginning"so if I lost control of my bowels or peed in my pants or started to go blindto call him, we would know things had gotten worse....other than that don't lose any sleep over it, that's what I paid him to do. I also have the tingling ( pins and needles) in my feet, started in my left footin my left arm and has now moved to my right foot. I am losing sensationin my groin area. I have pain (on and off) in diffferent muscles in my armsand legs. It's almost gotten to be a game to see which muscle is going tohurt for the next couple of days....feels like I have been working out...but Ihaven't. I have a b12 deficiency which may or may not contribute to the story. My legs will feel like they are getting stiff....if I am sitting...I get thefeeling of constriction...not cramping...but really it feels like something squeezing. They feel better once I get up and walk. They feeling is usually bad at night when I try to sleep. Hope you feel better and get a Dr to "LISTEN" to you...I am seeking a secondopinion....Best of luck to you!!
