Burning sensation & dry facial skin

About 3 days ago, my wife experienced a burning sensation in the chin area of her face as well as very dry skin on her nose that looked similar to a sunburn. There is a small rash and her nose started peeling like a sunburn. It is not a constant burning but tends to be worse at night.

Any advise or similar experiences would greatly be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

  • By chance does she take niaspan or niaspan er(nicotinic acid) if so have her take a asprin prior to taking niaspan as this will help reduce the flushing feeling, also limiting sugars can help as the degree of flushing seems to coincide with sugar intake.
