I have been suffering from burning feet and severe muscle pain. My doctor prescribed me Lyrica. Now my lips and forehead feel numb and my left arm is very weak. My doctor sent me to a neurologist, but he can't see me until 3 months from now. I try to call other neurologists and they are all booked too. My symptoms are getting worst each day and I don't now what else to do. I also have some heart palpitations. The worst is the burning sensation on my feet and the pain when someone touches me on my arms, legs or on my ribs. I also get a lot of migraines and when I get them, the numbness on my face gets worst. Could someone let me know what can I do to alleviate the symptoms or at least does someone has any idea what could be wrong with me??

  • I had this too and my diagnosis was transverse myelitis. If it just began you may need to encourage someone to order an MRI to see if this is the cause or diagnosis if so they will need to put you on high dose IV steroids to reduce the symptoms and damage before they get worse...

  • I would look into the possibilty of RSD ( Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy)a lot of the symtoms you discribe is what I too have. I was diagnosed with full body RSD and I suufer from every symptom you listed plus a few others. If there is a chace it could be RSD you really need to start treatment so it wont get worse. I would look into seeing a Pain specialist or an Anesthesiologist they are the ones that know more about these kind of diseases than any other doctor even though its a neurological disease neurologists dont want to accept it and believe in it. I really hope you find your answer what ever it may be. Niki
