I am a 33 year old female and I have had this situation happened to me three times in the past 12 months. When going to bed I have had a burning sensation in my feet, I feel like I have to move them often to keep them cool. I put lotion on them thinking they are dry but that doesn't help. I end up not being able to sleep until about 3 am, when I wake up my feet feel fine but I feel like I have sweat quite a bit and I have a strong body odor that goes away after showering. The burning in my feet isn't always associated with the sweating though...the feet burning happens a couple times a month.

  • Unfortunately murphymom I haven't anything to offer you.I occasionally get extremly hot feet in bed and love finding a cold space to place them but it isn't that unbearable, never painful nor sweating caused. So again I apologise for what seems like a pointless reply to your thread but.... what planet is this blaze person from? seriously! I have just read a thread posted last summer by a mother who was going through something similar to what has brought me here (though thankfully I don't believe my scenario is as drastic)and blaze was the first reply she recieved, she must have wasted so much time reading that tripe, he/she always tries to lure people with a false sense as he/she has suffered with a similar condition.I know it is equally pathetic to get so incensed about it but some of us are here hoping for some insightful person to stumble on our threads and offer up a much anticipated answer. ok moan over! good luck with the answers you are looking for and I hope this got to you before you were lured to the ruddy antenna site! x

  • Hi thanks for the reply and the head up on Blaze ;). I do not have diabetes, but the burning sensation actually keeps me awake...it has now happened three nights in a row but not the sweating. Maybe the sweating was just a coincidence and was not related to the feet issue. I am wondering if it could be Raynaud's my mother was diagnosed last year with it...I may be reaching but I don't know what else it could be. Again it would be no big deal if it was interrupting my sleep.
