For several months I have been getting, at odd times and for no apparent reason, burning eyes (as if I've been peeling onions), at the same time a most unpleasant chemical taste in my mouth, which I can also smell. It seems to make the back of my throat quite sore. I do have various allergies, and take anti-histamines. Any ideas?

  • You are having a reaction to some type of chemical that you are being exposed to. You should see your doctor to be certain that you are not being poisoned by the chemical. Good Luck

  • Have you purchased a new mattress lately? Since the new federal law has been enacted, as of July 2007, all mattresses manufactured or imported into the USA must comply with CFR 1633 open flame testing, which means there is an obscence amount of very serious harmful chemicals added to all mattresses. This law causes more problems than it helps, but hey, the chemical companies don't care, they're making a fortune. The CPSC doesn't care either, there's no truth in abeling laws so you'll never know which chemicals you're exposed to.
