Hello...

So i've been worrying myself sick about this.... I had a yeast infection about 4-6 months ago.. i used a prescription anti-fingal cream to rid myself of it, but i didn't really see a huge difference until after like 2 weeks. So things have been ok since then, but now i think it came back, however, when erect i notice bumps under the skin of my penis head. if it's normal, you don't see any bumps at all, it's ONLY when erect. The bumps are skin colored, not red or inflamed. I'm not sure what it could be, i've looked around a bunch, and at a ton of pictures and i can't compare it to anything thus far. I do notice a light smell, which leads me to believe i have another yeast infection. I'm uncircumcised so it's apparently common, but i never noticed any bumps like this before. As far as sexually active, i have been, but i protect myself. Any ideas?

  • does it hurt? Discharge at all? if you can rule out sexually transmitted disease the most likely thing is thrush I think - if you are truly worried then see your gp, if only for your own peace of mind.

  • it doesn't hurt.. though i have had very slight itching, which is reminiscent of the yeast infection... No discharge that i have noticed, and by discharge, i assume you're meaning from the urethra. Slight redness in areas, but that has since decreased as i've been paying close attention to it, using peroxide/water to clean it rather than just soap. Again, i really am just worried about the bumps... you can't see ANY bumps or anything wrong when it's deflated, but erect you can see bumps under the skin, though no white head/blackhead/indentation... they don't have a flat top... they don't look like any std that i have found. Still, i have always protected myself, so i am 99% sure it's not an std (though i know you can get things like HPV from other skin contact)Thanks for your insight though. I'll have to make an appointment soon.
