Have a buffalo hump at the base of my neck. Vision problems. Had blood tests. All appear ok. Recovering alcoholic, so they say "that's it". Say only option is liposuction which I have to pay for. Hump growing. Eyes not equal. Been told fat has no pain.....so, ok? now what? any ideas?

  • No real good ideas except to definitely get a second opinion, or a third! I was diagnosed with a fatty lump (lipoma) on my stomach, told it was nothing to worry about, only fat etc.; turned out not to be a lipoma at all, but an epigastric hernia. But sadly if it is a lipoma, then bar surgery there's not a lot to be done about it.
