Our daughter fell off her bed and was diagnosed with a buckle fracture in her arm - near her wrist. She was treated at the ER by having a full cast of plaster on her arm. The dr stated this would have to be on for 4-6 weeks. We had to visit the fracture clinic which we did today, the dr took the cast off and put a wrist brace on, it has only been 5 days since our daughter fractured her arm has anyone got any opinion whether this treatment is more effective?? We are concerned as no xrays were taken the cast was just cut of, our daughter is 8 years old and quite active and accident prone, she actually fell down a flight off stairs yesterday and reinjured her already fractured arm, please give us your advice or opinions.
