My son's fingertips have been turning brown at the tips. We went to see two dermatologists and they have both been stumped as to what it is. They think it’s something he is allergic too that he touches every-day. Has anyone seen this before or has any suggestions on what I should do? Or who I should go see?

  • Hi, I found a website that might help it could be a vascular problem. Try http://www.assh.org/Public/HandConditions/Pages/VascularDisorders.aspx

The 2 different dermatologist we saw ruled this out since they said if it would be anything vascular, it would accour on both hands and feet. Since his feet/toes are perfectly normal, thay concluded it could not be a "blood-flow"/vascular issue.

  • May be a cigarette burn. I know it may be a bit late of a reply, but if it occurs again this may help.
