I have a genetic problem with my scalp-hair that no dermatologist can seem to find the answer to. It's really given me bad self esteem because it makes me look like a troll.
My hair is extremely dry, brittle and unmanageble. It has been so ever since I was 8-9 years old. The strands fly upwards instead of dropping downwards (and I get dandruff too). It's got an akward look to it and combing it wont help at all. I usually have to cut the hair really short in order to avoid embarassment (because when it grows longer, its weirdness becomes even more exagarated).
Could this be the "Uncombable Hair Syndrome"? Or could it possibly be something else? How would I go on to cure this (permanently if possible)?
Photos: (it might not look too extreme in these photos because the hair is cut short)
Any answer is appreciated...
