I'm a 19 year old female, not overweight and no health problems.
I don't smoke or drink but lately I've been having shortness of breath.
They are not due to anxiety or stress as most people believe. I am not stressed out at all.
It happens about 10 times throughout the day and it goes away and come back. I can't seem to take a full breath and my chest feels tight.
Sometimes it goes away for months but it always comes back.
I'm actually underweight but could this be because I don't exercise a lot or the food I eat?
I feel somewhat better when I get fresh air.

Please help!

  • It could be a lot of things, but it's important to make sure it isn't a heart issue. It could be something as simple as anemia. But I would get checked out by a doctor just to make sure.
