I am a 34 y.o. female. I found a lump in my breast about a month or so ago, have gone for a mammogram and ultrasound, and neither test showed anything, I guess my breast tissue is too dense? I am supposed to go to see a general surgeon now but I don't really know why, and waiting for my appointment (they haven't even called me for my appt yet) is kinda driving me crazy. The lump is quite large, and my physician, the mammogram tech and myself can feel it easily. why wont it show up, and what could it mean?

Mine is large, tubular and rubbery. I can no longer wear underwire bras and usually try to go braless. I've had a mammo and 2 ultrasounds, both negative. The pain is not cyclical. Doctors arent worried, but I am. The mass is 2 by 1 cm long and at the bottom of the left breast (almost like right on top of the bone). Please post your results, as I will be checking. They won't even stick a needle in there for me to do a biopsy.
