  • One thing to try before resorting to surgery is a castor oil pack. Research Edgar Cayce CAstor oil pack remedy - it is extremely helpful for fibrocystic breasts. Helps to dissolve cysts in the LIver as well. Basically take a layer of pure organic castor oil and place on the breast. Cover this with some plastic wrap and then a towel. Add a heat source like a hot water bottle and lie quietly for 30-40 minutes. I would do this at least once daily for two weeks to a month and test again to see if it has shrunk. Think this would be worth trying. Best wishesDOM

  • Don't be fearful. There are a few options for removal of a benign breast mass. They can remove it surgically through an incision OR they can dissolve it through Cryoablation which requires the smallest of incisions. Cryoablation is when they insert a probe into your breast and actually freeze the mass to kill the tissue; it dissolves slowly over a period of months.I've had both types of surgery, both went very well. Neither mass has returned. What is best for you depends on your situation. Talk to your doctor about your options. ASK your doctor if the removal of the mass will distort your breast. Most doctors will have an idea of what the outcome will be. The mass I had removed surgically (incision) was fairly large and it HAS NOT changed the shape of my breast. Hope this helps you!
