I had a work related accident. Steel pole hit my right side of head. Blacked out twice. CT scann only found swelling in the brain. slurred speach, to not being able to speak at all for 3 months. I have severe headaches and my right arm is numb or tingly at times. Hot sweats, disorintation, depression, memory loss, is only a few things I still have. All my doctors said I'm much better now ( 3 months later) and able to return to work. I even believed I was ok also. I recently went to have my hair cut. When the stylist washed my hair I screamed cause it felt like knives scraping and cutting into my head. I felt bad to scare her but it was horrible. I'm now back to feeling that I'm not ok. My nose, eye and ear on the right side is runny. I allways feels so dizzy. I'm worried about the long term effect of this. Can anyone tell me what I should do? I'm going to see a new neurologist cause the last one said I was just fine. Thanks

  • Yes, it is scary. My husband just had brain surgery, so I can surely sympathize with you. (He had an aneurysm). I think you need to definitily follow up with a new neurologist, but you shoud also find a suport group. You need to be able to talk with other people walking in your shoes. Try here: http://www.biausa.org/stateoffices.htm God bless.

If you are a ****s follower, he guided me and I came back to life. He was there when no one else was there to help me. I was a wild Child and no parents. Swelling of the brain I had, thats why I was in a coma, with steriods it came down with in 1/2 year. Till then slow it up a little take it slower. I had nothing left, ****s was there.
