I have had serious headaches for awhile now, but I never thought much of it. I started having problems with the simple things like memory, vision, simple task like right now spelling or drinking juice. My family made me go in to find out I might have this bug in my brain. It was scary thinking all this time something is eating me alive. Ugh.... anways. I would be so thankful if you can get me info about this bug. I can't remember what it was called if it had another name, but as the doc. put it he said something like (brain eating amoeba)....
Please help me out.... He said he couldn't do anything that I have to go else where. Can you also tell me where I should go. I have 3 babies all 5months and the dad aint around anymore.
My family is also looking, but we haven't had any luck.

If your doctor has truly said that he suspects that you have this disease, you've already become symptomatic. That is the worst case scenario. Literally, stand up, get paper, answer the questions, and leave.Again, IF YOU HAD PREVIOUS EXPOSURE TO AN OPEN BODY OF WATER BEFORE YOUR SYMPTOMS, EVEN AN UNCLEAN SWIMMING POOL, GO NOW. You need immediate MRI/CAT scans and a spinal tap.Gr8tful, Naegleria fowleri is the amoeba that causes primary amebic meningoencephalitis.
