My mom has been diagnosed with Bowel Obstruction. Doctors says she has a hernia and her bowel is stuck there and wants to have surgery. She is not a good candidate for surgery because of her bad circulation problem . They put her on Plavix and 350mg of aspirin for a vasular surgery two years ago and she hermerrage after leaving the hospital and had to return for blood transfusion. The doctor did not dignosed the hernia from the x-ray they took, he just felt the side of my mom stomach and said she had an hernia. From the x-ray they only said that she had a small bowel obstruction. I really want to avoid surgery because of her circulation problem. They now have a tube in her nose to her stomach that is pulling the backed up stuff there and she is not having that awful pain in her stomach that sent us to the hospital. 3 yrs ago Her GYN had notice a mass at the same place the surgeon is referring to and had a catscan done but it did not reveal the mass, the GYN said the mass goes and comes. So I am thinking that this problem can revolve itself without surgery. Can it?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
