My 14 yr old has chronic knee pain with no known injury. Knee gives out/locks up at intervals. Plays tennis. MRI shows bone marrow edema involving medial femoral condyle and anterior tibia extending to anterior tibial tuberosity. Tendos appear OK. On crutches for 3 months, no sports and medrol dose pack. MD did not give good reason for bone marrow swelling, appeared in a hurry. Does marrow swelling always go with a bone bruise? What does this mean?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
