I have a boil on the bottom of my thigh. It is in a weird place. hard to see it, and treat it easy. It started to hurt again recently. i been about 2 years since I went to the doctor about it. It been fine till about a few days ago.
It does not look gross yet, it just feels sore. It is a little puffly but i don't see any puss.. How can I stop it from becoming a monster again? Or should I see my doctor?
If I go to insta care they might not do anything. Would wrapping my leg help so it don't get bugged more?

  • try soaking in a hot tub, or applying a warm wet compress. i get boils all the time in my groin area, and that is pretty much all you can do. If it does get really big you can call your doctor to have it drained, or if you are brave you can sterilize a pin or needle and stick it in the side of the boil so the pus will drain, then take a hot shower to help draw the pus out. good luck, they are annoying and painful.
