On and off for a while I have had body odor issues. I tend to get very warm easily, especiallly anywhere where the heat is on, and then I start to smell. I'll sweat a little bit, but not profusely, and it seems to be a different smell then the traditional sweaty body odor type smell. I don't know quite how to describe it (maybe musty?), but I basically end up smelling like I am dirty and haven't taken a shower in a few days, and the smell seems to come from all over my body like my back and chest, not just my armpits or groin the "traditional" odor areas. I shower at least once a day and wash all my clothes and sheets regularly so its not like don't keep clean. And I don't really eat any spicy or odd foods that are known to produce b.o.

Anyone know what could be the cause of these odor issues or have any solutions to the problem? I heard sometimes zinc can help reduce odor, so I was thinking of taking some zinc tablets, but I was wondering if anybody had any other helpful info.

Spices don't give body odors, in fact, they help the body detox. Are you vegetarian? How is your Vitamin D, B intake? I would say inventory all nutrients in your diet since you might have a defficiency.Probably you need more antioxidants. Try to drink more herbal teas, more water, and take baths with vinegar, epson salts, baking soda, and essential oils. Check with a Doctor of Oriental Medicine for your overall health. They are good with this type of symptoms.Best,Frui.
