I have been having strange noises coming out of all areas of my body (not just joints) since December, approx 4 months. There is no pattern to them. Sometimes they are very loud and noticeable and other times, only I can hear them. I do not believe it is joint related, but related to tendons or connective tissue since it is at strange places. I can even feel the snapping sometimes. Feels like a rubber band when stretched out and snaps. I am in good shape but I don't overdo it when it comes to exercise, so I don't believe that is a factor.
I have been to 3 different doctors, my primary, my OB/GYN and a rheumatologist. Blood work has been done many times. I do have sjogrens, but dr says this is not related to that. Nothing else major is coming up in my blood work. Doctors just say if there is no pain, then to not worry. I do not agree.
Has anyone else ever heard of such a thing and what can I do? Since no one seems to know what it is or what's causing it, it is very alarming to me. A friend of mine suggested inflammation of fascia? I can not find any other leads on what this is but it is bothersome and disrupting my life.
