im 16 years old and recently ive had blood, not in the stool itself, but on the toilet paper after i release my bowls(if that is how you spell it), also, while releasing, there is a sharp pain.

really dont want to see a doctor about this for obvious reasons, but since its not in the stool itself i thought maybe its something i can take care of myself,

please help!

thanks :)

  • not to worry too much. I had the same question, and didnt want to talk to a doctor either. But ended up asking one when i had a flu and had to see the doctor anyway. Doctory said it might be hemmoroids. not sure what that means for the long run, or why i got them. But he certainly was not worried about it.

  • It sounds like you have hemorrhoids. (You may be constipated) That's nothing to be afraid of. If you go to the doctor he can give you medication for it. I recommend a doctor visit to make sure. Remember doctors are here to help you, so don't be afraid. Don't be embarrassed because you don't have anything they haven't seen before.

  • It is quite common that you see some blood on the toilet paper if you’re little constipated. It’s nothing dangerous, it will heal. Try to eat more fruit and vegetables if it becomes a problem. Good luck! :)
