I went to the doctor a few months ago about this. The doctor checked me for tears and took blood samples. She calls me and tell me that my tests were in and I come in and they tell me that my potassium was low and the blood was coming from the thyroid and I was prescribed potassium pills. They wanted to run tests on my thyroid but I didn't get a chance to before I left the country for 2 months. I never bled there once but when I came back I started bleeding again. This time there is more blood and today my anus is in pain. The food I have been eating hasn't been too great tasting and I've been getting diarrhea from some places I went out to eat at. I am not sure if the bleeding is mainly being caused by stress and depression mixed with the crappy food I have been eating. Sometimes the blood is worse than other times, today there was alot of blood the first wipe. Oh, I also wanted to add that sometimes after using the restroom my anus feels like it is sticking out a little bit.

  • Sounds like internal hemorrhoids. Varicosities of the veins in the area. Get more fiber, drink more water and try some low back exercises.
