Blood in Stool

Hello.

I was wondering if anybody could help me before I see a Doctor.

I am 18 years old and I am allergic to Dairy Products - I am lactose intolerant. I do, however, frequently eat dairy products, because it may or may not give me problems (If i do have problems, it's just a stomach ache the morning after or after the meal, followed by a bout of semi dihorreoa which I'm used to dealing with).

However, recently, I've seen some blood in my dumps. It's not a whole lot, but noticebly turns the water a light reddish colour (barely noticeable, especially among my dihorreoa), but quite a lot of (what appears to be FRESH bright red blood when i wipe my bottom) blood, which goes away after the 2nd or 3rd wipe... which probably means it ISN'T a rip on the ring of my anus. It is possible that the blood is coming from a rip, however, because the ring is convex slightly, due to heavy amounts of dihorreoa in the past, which has caused it to take on such a shape. This may or may not have made the sensitive capilleries and such vulnerable to the toilet paper i've been using (and since i'm very hygenic, I tend to wipe... maybe excessively sometimes).

Anyways, lately, there's been blood in my stool, and i'm coming to think i've come down with hemmeroids (spelling?). I wouldn't be surprised, because (due to exams) I have been, for the last 3 months, sometimes sitting in the same place for about 14-16 hours a day, getting up only a couple of times during the day- I've heard that pilots get hemmeroids because of their lengthy sitting.

Although I'm quite worried, I'm pretty sure it's nothing serious, considering my age, poor eating habits (few vegetables, fruits, cereal etc.) and studying.

Any input is GREATLY appreciated.

Brick
