Hi everyone. I'm a twenty-two year-old student in need of some guidance. For the last few years, there has been an increase in blood and circulatory symptoms that tend to come and go. These include anemia, poor circulation in extremities, headaches, drops in blood pressure to the point of passing out and bruising on various parts of the body.
In addition, (and especially during menstruation) I've experienced nickle-to-quarter-sized blood clots, with one showing up in a vein in the palm of my hand! So far, doctors have perscribed an increase in my intake of meat and protein, along with low-estrogen birth control to regulate periods and blood pressure.
I know this is a vast catagory, so any push in the right direction is much appreciated. :o
