Blister-covered canker sores on tongue, severe abdominal pain, now legs giving out

I'd give anything if someone could help me.

This all started with blister covered canker stores (under every blister was at least 3-4 more). Oral surgeon said every time he's seen this, it's been lupus (3 family members have had SLE).

Last holiday season, my mom had shingles and 12/17, I got severe burning under rt. nipple which spread to the left, but no blister outbreak.

This was followed by flare GERD/gastritis.

I had 2 days of feeling great.

Then I had a severe canker outbreak, was so bad I didn't eat for six days.

Now, I've got some abnormalities on blood work - slightly elevated liver functions, low MCHC and high RDW.

I have a CAT scan scheduled today. But I'm really worried because my legs are giving out on me and I'm falling. I sometimes walk like like I'm drunk.

I forgot that I started having nausea and vomiting about a week ago.

Can any help?

Thanks!

Tammy

  • Those with autoimmune issues in the family are more prone to other autoimmune illnesses too. The way you described your cancer sore outbreak, made me think of Behcet's Syndrome. I suggest you look into Behcet's as that symptom is characteristic of it. The symptoms of Behcet's depends on what areas are affected. Behcet's is not a well known condition so may be hard to get diagnosed (its rare), so I suggest you do your own research before approaching the doctors about it.

I've done a lot of research and Behcet's and Sjoegren's kept popping up. I've already seen a couple of doctors. Had CT scan abdomen with contrast. 2 hours later, my PCP called and left a message to call them, they need to schedule an appt for me. I have an appt with them already so I wonder if the radiologist called him and gave him a wet reading. Sigh. I think I'm no longer afraid of what it will be. I simply want to know what's wrong.Take care!Tammy
