My wife has been deemed to be Bipolar and cylclical. Yet no symtems of highs or lows exist and it has been not been cyclical. Rather, comming down off of prescriptions drugs has been the case each time.

When anyalyzing or lives, no major bombs, finances ok, we go places, do things, enjoy a great relationship, great sex life...More money would be nice but no major threats in our personal lives. She is very active and so am I. Is it possible that in a relationship as close as ours she is hiding depression somewhere? I just don't see how. And all the tests on line come up short...zip depression. Therefore zip bipolar. Yet MD shrinks continue to throw this generalized term bipolar around. They only come see her in a drugged up state. Thats like working with half a deck!

So what is it, do I keep her on drugs the rest of her life as MD's recommend? Do I wean her off drugs and take a chance on more permanent damage? I don't know what to do and certainly the standard protocal of the MD's won't do. Help! I've lost my best friend!!!
