belly button smells of strong urine

Please help. I have an occasional problem with my naval, or "belly button" smelling strongly of concentrated urine. I am female, middle-aged, not overweight, not diabetic, have no infections I am aware of and have no belly piercings, tattoos and have never had abdominal surgery or pregnancies. I vaguely remember Dr. Oz mentioning on his show about naval hernias causing urine odor and that surgery is sometimes warranted to close the area of leakage from the ureter to the umbilicus? Does anyone out there know who I should consult on this and whether surgery is safe and effective to cure this problem? Thank you very much! NinaJ
