I'm not really sure what's wrong with me at all so I'll describe my symptoms as follow

The past week I've had a very hard to decribe taste in my mouth even though it seems more like it's my breath that i can taste. it's like a fruity sour soap.

before it started I had some pretty bad chest pains (I got pains when i took deep breaths and held them) and palputations but subsided and been mostly abscent since it started.

My chest does on occasion click when i'm in the same position too long and strain it to one side and get slight pain from time to time.

Lastly, I have a fair bit of wind and been surfing from synus problems for nearly a year now (one of my nostrils is constantly blocked) which i'll soon get looked at by an ENT.

I've got a bad feeling this foul taste is just a calm before the storm as I'm getting feverish.. right now I just want this taste to go away, it's horrible

  • I'm not sure about fruity and soapy, but sometimes with acid reflux disease you can have a sour taste in your mouth and chest pains. I would definitely get the sinus issues checked out too.

A side-effect is your body's way of telling you it doesn't like it and presents first in the mouth. I would highly suggest examining those medications and replacing or eliminating them if possible to see if the situation rectifies itself from that before accepting a diagnosis for something you may or may not even have.

It seems more acceptable that i have acid reflux but i'll have to see what my doctors says tomorrow, thanks for the advice

The number 1 reason (not always) is your diet: candidiasis (overgrowth of fungi)and/or a parasitic overgrowth. What color is your tongue? If it is coated with "hairy", white patches, it may be hairy leukoplakia which is usually relation to your white blood cells. What exactly is your diet like? The following are some of the conditions which are attributed to not the best eating habits: diabetes, (also pancreatic disorders) cancer, (non-hodgkins lymphoma, et. al.) thyroid disease, (so many are not being diagnosed properly) hormonal disorders, etc.... I strongly suggest that you research a well qualified, efficient/thorough internal physician, oncologist, and/or endocrinologist to determine if there is a correlation with your taste and your health. Also, an excellent dental hygienist, dentist would also benefit you, if you have not seen one (same goes for the other doctor recommendations).BTW, I don't recall if you are male or female.
