I have been having low right sided back pain, all around my lower ribs and above my hip bone for several months. I did have a rib injury called SLipping Rib Syndrome which began about a year ago. I had a lot of pain in my lower ribs in the abdominal area, as well as some back pain with this condition. I had surgery for this about 6 months ago, and the pain in the front has gone away for the most part, but I'm still left with bad back pain/hip pain. It almost seems worse since the surgery. It kind of seems like my lowest rib (the 12th) is jabbing my hip bone or something like that. I don't know if that is possible. The pain seems to be worse when I sit down. I also seem to have searing pain in between my 12th and 11th ribs. It's almost like my nerve in between there is getting squished. There are also small points where my rib connects to my spine that seem to be very sore when they are pushed on. What could this be?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
