Hi. Has anyone ever had pain in their back, (just below the shoulder blades), which is worse in the morning, and very painful on sharp movements? In addition to this I have a stiff neck, which is causing discomfort too.
If so, what did you do/take to ease the symptoms?
I don't often go to the Drs, but if I can't find something to ease this soon, I might have to.
Any advice/suggestions gratefully received.

  • I have had muscle spasms in my upper back and neck; the doctors treated me with muscle relaxers and anti-inflammatories (super-advil). If it's bad, you should get it looked at.

  • Beginning to think that's a very good suggestion, thank you. Hope you don't suffer any more.

  • I get stiffness in various parts of my body, including the neck. Mine seems to be nerve pain, and I get occasional shooting pains which are really painful. It's like a lightning bolt slashing through. Neurontin helps this pain, though it makes me dizzy and tired. However, I prefer that to nerve pain! Good luck and God bless. With prayers, Sally B.
