For a long time I have experienced lower back pain and pain down the back of my legs and a burning pain sickening pain in my calves. Recently i have started having really sharp pain in my left hip and slight pain in right hip when i move a little too quick or when I am standing using left leg first. Xray and ct scan show a boney growth on my spine, (lumbar) but the dr says this is not the cause of my pain.
Some mornings i cannot physically stand as I am in so much pain and I feel my legs cannot hold me up. My knees seem to buckle.
I cannot stand on the spot because that causes burning pain in knees and calves. To complicate matters I have raynauds so I have cold hands and feet and really struggle to keep warm. My gp looks at me like I am mad when I say that my feet are freezing and my knees are burning.
I struggle to sit in an upright chair and nearly fall over with pain from my left hip if i use left leg to stand.
Recently I have started having pain and stiffness in my fingers and this is worse in the mornings. I find even holding a cup difficult because my fingers are so stiff and painful. I have also developed a hard lump in the centre of my left palm which is tender to touch. i feel dreadful and spend most of my days in bed and have done for two years, I rarely leave the house because I feel so low with pain that no one can explain. can someone help me? I thought the xray and scan would find the answer to my problems but it has not. My dr seem to be saying there is nothing wrong with me but my pain and difficulties are real.
