I have severe upper back pain on the right side, it feels like someone is sticking an ice pick in me and also has a sensation of numbness and static cling. I also have severe left hip pain of which i have had for about 15 years. I have seen a hip specialist and a spine specialist. The hip doctor said i may not have cartilage in my hip and back doctor said poss bulging disk. The hip doctor said my hip is fine but noticed a bulge in a disk in my back. The spine doctor said i do NOT have any bulging disks in my back and it looks fine and believes the back pain is due to a bad hip. I had an MRI done about 10 years ago for the same problem with my hip and was told the hip was probably bad but would not refer me to a specialist and it went untreated and without a definite diagnosis. The pain has been so bad recently I am not able to sleep well at night, sit, stand or lay down. Does anyone have any ideas what might be wrong?? I am only 30 years old and can not take the pain anymore, it is affecting every aspect of my life.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
