Im a 30yr old healthy male besides being diagnosed with A-Fib, that has occurred for 2years on and off(hasn't been more then a nuisance). I have reduced the episodes by eliminating caffeine and alcohol all together the last 3 months. the last 2 weeks episodes have returned during my sleeping hours. I have stopped eating close to bed time and not drinking close to bed time where as urinating in the middle of the night seems to trigger episodes. Not eating and drinking seems to limit the nightly episodes so far and changing my diet to be lighter and more filled with foods with magnesium potassium and fish oils to help. My Cardiologist seems to think I will always have A-Fib unless treated by medication and or ablation treatment, I was hoping for a-little help on ways to combat this problem without medications and or ablation treatment! Or anyone who has experienced these types of treatment to help with my anxiety over medication and ablation treatment.
