Our 9 year has been battling a chronic cough (dry) condition now for the last 7 years. We and some dr's think it may be asthma, so they have done the puffers, ventalin, nebulizers, etc. THe nebulizer seems to help a bit. The cough will happen a day before it rains, then it gets worse as it rains. Worsens at night around 2am. Guaranteed 4 or 5 trips a week, sometimes twice a night in the fall and winter. We did move to a drier climate and it help greatly. Only one visit. We had to move back to a rainier climate...and guess what fall is upon us, first rainfall came and now she is sick again. The dr she saw tonight does not think its asthma becuz lungs are clear and no wheezing. She never does. Just a persistant dry cough , no fever, but runny nose...we have her on Moducare (natural immune system builder supplement)...any suggestions...signed sleepless mom.:(:eek::eek:
