well i'm 16 years old, and for the past 2 months i had been having really bad pressure in the back, bottom part of my head, and sharp shooting pains up the back of my head. this was acompanied by severe weakness and lightheadedness. and i am now having a lot of vision problems, like black spots in one of my eyes, and at night before bed i get these bright, tye-dye like flashes in my eyes which is really irritating.
my doctor sent me for an MRI, which revealed i have something called Chiari malformation, where my cerebellum is lower than it should be. he said that i'm most likely going to have surgery if i want these symptoms to go away.
